Key Indicator: 2.6 Student Performance and Learning Outcomes
Attainments of POs and COs are evaluated
Assessment of program outcomes (POs) and program-specific outcomes (PSOs) is an essential part of
the evaluation. In outcome-based education, program outcomes (POs) serve as a guide for curriculum
design, delivery, and assessment of student learning. Assessing learning outcomes is an iterative process
that involves continuous refinement and improvement. COs are the basic building blocks for assessment
of PO attainment. By carefully defining course outcomes, developing appropriate assessment tools, and
analyzing data, course teacher ensure that their courses are effective in achieving their intended goals.
For multi-faceted development of students, various student centric activities are conducted. All these
contribute in the attainment of all learning outcomes.
